How to Prepare For CBSE Exams in social science

am a student of std 10th in a cbse affiliated school.We are facing a lot of problems as the syllabus has changed specially in social science.We have few practice papers available with us and moreover d s.s.portion has been a Goliath size.I would be Hartley thankful to you if you can please help me out with he s.s portion and how to prepare such that i can yield maximum out of the board paper.
Sorry to take your precious time but please also advice me on how to make notes for science which can be brief and also comprises of all d key topics.Should I refer only the topics given in cbse text books ??/Because in many other book based on cbse syllabus,there are many topics which are not mentioned in the text book[Ncert].
I would be obliged if u spare some time for me.

You can get U-like or together with sample paper from market and practice the model question papers. For science clss 10, Kendriya Vidyalaya have issued a study material for its students. You can get it from any of your friend who is studding in KV. Some good quality refreshers also have key notes of the chapter you can use them.

For preparing for social exams the best way i recommend is to be really comfortable with your text book.know what is there in it but dont byheart the text book.you may refer to guides but it may not be soo useful.also review all the pretest material given to you.
