1- A die is thrown repeatedly until a 6 comes up. What is the sample space for this experiment??
2-Prove that every 3 consecutive integers are divisible by 3.
3-Show that for odd +ve integer to be a perfect square, it should of the form 8k+1.
4-Find greatest no. of 6 digits exactly divisible by 24,15 & 36. (Ans.-999720)
5-Prove that no number of the type 4k+2 can become a perfect square.
6-Prove that 3 times the sum of squares of the sides of a triangle is equal to 4 times the sum of squares of the medians of the triangle.
7-When 6 boys were admitted & 6 girls left, the percentage of boys increased from 60% to 75%. Find original no. of boys & girls in the class. (Ans-24,16)
8-If areas of 3 adjacent faces of cuboid are x,y&z. Find the volume of the cuboid. (Ans-Under root xyz)
9-Two cones X & Y are made. X having 3 times the radius of Y & Y having half the volume of X. Find the ratio of height of X & Y. (Ans-9:2).
